Accommodation in Hawaii?

I'm going to Honolulu in May for 13 days, this is my first trip and also my honeymoon. I'm looking for accommodation around US$80 per night with good recommendation. Also, should I book accommodations in Oahu the whole time or stay in other islands? How do I travel from one island to another and what are the price and alternatives? Thank you for all your help.
