What amp would work almost as well as a JL Audio 1000/1 amp to power a 13w7?

does anyone think i could use a 500/1 JL audio amp to power a 13w7 in a bandp box adequetly enough to be able to wait a few more months to purchase a 1000/1? or what amp is under 500 i could use to power a 13w7?
