Overheating engine from the inside I think.?

When you shut off your car the coolant stops flowing and the engine gets hotter. When you turn it on right away, the coolant has to flow for it to cool down. When you're sitting in traffic, cold air isn't going through the radiator, which makes the engine run hotter but cool enough for proper engine performance.
