Is Arizona as good as everyone really thinks or is the NL West just weak?

I mean I know the D-Backs are a good team, and Brandon Webb is a stud, but do they just look great because they're beating up on the crap that is the NL West. I mean before the season started they were predicting this to be one of the toughest divisions, but it's been anything but that. Colorado is just proving that they got hot at the right time last year and are a severly overrated team. The Dodgers were supposed to be another team to beat with Torre coming over and Andruw Jones (who blew up like a balloon). San Fransisco has $126 million reliever with an 0-7 record and a 17.00 ERA and nothing more. So are the D-Backs as good as everyone thinks or are they just beating up on the weakest division in baseball? Again don't get me wrong, the D-Backs are one of the more talented teams in the league, but are they being given more credit then they deserve?
