Needs medicine ideas for bad cough?

I have a really bad cough, it's dry, not producing any muscus and it doesn't seem to be coming from my chest. Everytime I breath in I have to cough, It's keeping me from sleeping, seriously irritating my already sore throat, made me voice very horse and just a general annoyance. Any ideas that had helped you get rid of it is great. I've already tried menthol cough drops, theraflu daytime, nyquil, a generic version of Cleritian, and yesterday Delsym, which is supposed to be strictly a cough suppressant but it didn't seem to work. The only thing in my medicine cabninet I have yet to try is Tussin CF for cough and cold. However I am reluctant to try it since hearing about one of the active ingredients being dangerous, I believe it's the Phenylephrine, so if you have any information on that, let me know.

Hello there! Here's my story, some of you may find it pathetic, some may have been there too..First of all , i would very much appreciate honest advice from mature people who know a bit about life,love and relationships.I met this wonderful man in march this year ,we dated for 2 and a half months ,the most wonderful months in my life,although i have been in long term relationships before,never felt what i felt when i was with him.He used to call me every night and talk for at least half an hour ,used to spend every weekend together,had lots of fun,had great intimate moments,we were perfect together..he showed me respect and was very sweet and caring,he even told me things from his life he's never told anyone,not even his best friends,because he said he trusted me and felt like i was the right person he could open like that to.Then after a while he started to pull back, the phone calls weren't so often anymore,the weekends were shorter and he became more apathetic and less caring.Out of the blue he finally told me he wanted a break,needed time for himself,he is not good bf material anyway and that he doesn't want a relationship in his life right now and he has no love to give at the moment.He said he has a lot going on in his life,problems at work,family...and he couldn't give me the attention i needed anyway,so we split up.Of course, i made the big mistake to cry and get emotional and tried to convince him to give it another try etc,but he totally refused.He said he cared about me a lot and we can stay friends,but that would be all.He is 30 and he never had a relationship longer than 2-3-4 months,which i found strange,but he said he was always like that,he is not good in relationships,because he is not good bf material.I thought that was all bs ,because he mentioned he was in love with someone last year and she left him,he was really hurt , so i suspect he could have had a relationship with that woman if she loved him back,and now he is afraid he might get hurt again if we started to become more serious...he actually mentioned that if we continue seeing eachother ,one of us will get hurt eventually and he doesn't want that.I really don't know what to believe anymore... i gave him the time he wanted,i haven't called,emailed or txt himfor the past 3 weeks,he called me twice since we broke up,but we didn't talk much,he just wanted to see how i was doing and that was all..He told me he will never forget me and that i was a special genuine person..he used to be so loving and used to tell me nice things,and even bring me breakfast in bed..and then BAM! 180 degrees change...I just don't get it... Mold or mildew on bathroom ceiling?

my bathroom has a green mold or mildew on the ceiling. I believe this is because of ventilation problems. The bathroom is oretty big with only one window which is located toward the end. has no ceiling fans, and sometimes people in my family even close the windows while having hot steaming showers. now theres green mold or stuff on the ceiling. i cleaned it with bleach but i got some of the bleach liquid that i was using to clean it with on my self. i just wanted to know is this mold dangerous is it comes in contact

Will my roomate be held responsible for her dog urinating on my apartments carpet?

My name is on my apartment lease. I had a girl move in with me. She told me that her dog was completely potty trained but she has urinated all over my apartment which is all carpet. It's about 1000 square feet. I'm going to have her steam clean in, but afraid that might not be enough. I know some apartments actually lift up to see the pad or use blacklight. I had her sign a statement saying she would pay for any damages caused by her dog and specifically noted that damages to the carpet may have already happened as a result of her dog. That is way too many main characters! It might not be enough for you, but think if you were the reader: Would you be able to keep up with all the happenings of the characters? Three or four characters would be more comprehensible (10 characters all becoming the BEST of friends? I know there would be a huge conflict between all of them often!) I wouldn't say what year the story takes place (Why? Well, most books don't mention the year, unless they are taking place in the past or it's history. You can give off a few hints it takes place in present, or close to present day, without saying the year.) It'd be better if you separated the paragraphs. Many people who post their stories on this website looking for good feedback forget to do that and it looks like one big blob to me. I had someone that has recently posted an outright lie with malicious intent in response to a tagged photo of me on someone Else's facebook page. Essentially, a photo was posted with myself and another person. Because I was tagged in the photo, all comments regarding this photo were sent to my email inbox. Soon after the picture was posted I received emails about comments left on this picture claiming the theft of a large amount of money and wild accusation and name calling. I have never stolen anything from this person, but do have poor relationship with them. I do not have contact with this person to avoid these types of aults, but this person is relentless. I just went away on a state theatre competition trip for a few days. When I got home, I got grounded because I didn't call home enough (I've called home twice and texted a few times whenever i couldn't call). 9 week old kitten with blood in poo (which is greenish and runny) What could it be?

I got a 9 week old kitten last wednesday, When we got him we were told that he had lived outside since he was born because he was so timid. He is now better with us, But im worried as i have just found some poo (on the bottom of my curtains!!) that had bits of blood in it and it was greenish and runny. It is a great idea and an inexpensive method to create shelving. The weight may become too much for the filing cabinets if you put too much on the shelves. The cabinet(s) might begin to bend and at some point give way to the weight. I would simply cut a piece of 3/8" or 1/2" plywood the same dimensions as the top of the filing cabinets and put them on top and then put the blocks and shelves back in place. I think you'll be good for a long time to come without having to worry about a collapse. I hope that helps.

I am planning to apply for a personnell/admin job in the RAF. It's occurred to me that I will most likely relocate somewhere in the UK or maybe even outside of it. When you shut off your car the coolant stops flowing and the engine gets hotter. When you turn it on right away, the coolant has to flow for it to cool down. A lot of teens are angsty, so people tend to dismiss teenagers who feel the way you do. It sounds to me you actually have dysthymia, which is one type of depression. It's also what I have (at least I really think I do). Your back problem is very likely rooted to your dysthymia also. I'm a a few years older than you, but I feel basically the same way. You and I both need to see a doctor because experiencing all those symptoms for such a long amount of time (in my case 2 years) is no way to live. They will most likely help you (and me) with helpful suggestions and possibly give prescriptions for medicine.

Our newly installed sand sand filter septic system smells terrible. What can we do to stop the smell.?

We installed this system to the T by the county dept requir 1 yr ago. We don't have a pump system at the end of the septic tank as I have read that others have. Our pipe is 6 foot above our roof. Do we need more lenghth there? The ground isn't saturated anywhere that I can tell. I put a bacteria disk down the toilet 1x a week to help with decomposition. Sometimes the smell is so bad it takes your head off. The smell comes from the pipe over the roof line and also from the vent pipe over the drainage fields. I keep chlorine tabs down the chlorine tank, (last tank) as we are supposed to before the water comes to surface. It doesn't seem to stink at the water run out area. Just from the pipe over the roof and from the vent over the drainfields. It almost seems like we have alot of draft that runs through system from the vent pipe. I have even put plastic over this to stop the draft. Not sure if I am hurting anything by clogging off air flow, but just desperate to stop this smell

I had unprotected 2 days before ovulation (and I know when i ovulate because i get sharp cramps for several hours). Well, I had my "period" a week ago. Dewalt DW716 vs Hitachi C12DH.?

Given a choice between the two, I'd take the Hitachi every time. Hitachi makes great miter saws. DeWalt saws are OK at best. I've never used a DeWalt that didn't have a problem with blade wobble. There are ways to cut moulding so you can cut more than 5-1/8". I would, however, forget about the laser when embling your saw. I've found my eye to be much more accurate than a laser for making a cut. Go with Hitachi, you won't regret it.

Anyone have any suggestions to help deal with an 18 year old and a 17 year old daughter.?

My 18 year old daughter is preparing to go to college. She is mature in some ways but not in others. Right now, I am starting to show signs of the empty nest syndrome, and I really want to be a big part of her graduating high school, and to help her with her transition of leaving home and going to college, but she is doing everything to keep me completely out of her business. Every time I try to get involved, she gets angry and heads over to her grandparents. She has taken all of her college mail, graduation announcements, cap and gown, etc. to her grandparents so they can help her, but she won't even let me look at it. It hurts my feelings. My 17 year sympathizes, but she stays gone most of the time. She says we are growing up, mom, you are just gonna have to accept it. I think most of these attitudes are influenced by money. The grandparents have much more money than I have, and my 18 year old thinks that if she includes them more that they will be able to fund things I will not be able to. And my 17 year old has been hanging out with this family that seems to have unlimited amount of funds, and shares it freely with her. I know I should feel grateful that they have financial help, but why do I feel like such a loser, and why do they have to exclude me. I have always been there, and I did raise them this far.

I think group homes are a perfect place for seniors and for teenagers to do part-time or volunteer work. I think the seniors would enjoy the company, and make them feel still worth while. And what better way to teach our children to be more respectful, caring, and nuturing. They can learn alot, and become better people because of it.

Barking dogs when playing in dog park areas?

Check with your animal services, parks department, or whoever has the authority over that dog park. Usually, a public park is not subject to the same noise suppression requirements of a private residence. Asking dogs to not bark while playing is like putting kids on a jungle gym and saying "Don't raise your voice". It's a ridiculous request.

Why i had a panic attack last night?

so i haven't been able to get to sleep too easily over past two nights. but last night i had a like panic attack where i was shaking etc. its cause i thought there was someone in the house cos i heard like creaking outside in thehall and heard banging from outside, the banging sounds were really loud like a helicopter taking off but like less than that. i heard like t, drilling and stuff coming from outside. i then had like a panic attack and started shaking and now i remember that i kept like clawing at my skin until i bled, i then went into my mums room and was like crying and shaking so much. was this like imagination or something else. i was wide awake, yet there wasnt actually anything outside?

Fullface helmets for cruisers?

last night i got in my first spill, I'm 18 and have been riding for about a year and a half, was going about 40-50, and i guess the ground was wet or the traction on my tire was bad...maybe air pressure.. i don't know but whatever the reason, i was going into a curve and my bike just flew out from under from the back side, i was wearing gloves and a 3 - quarter helmet, with a shield. I was on my way home from work at around 10 pm, this happened to be the one time i forgot my jacket as well =-/ so i beat up my arms pretty bad, i can hardly type right now which is why i couldnt give a crap about my poor punctuation or grammar, anyway my question is ... i will be buying a new helmet with a chin guard, does anyone know of one that just wouldnt look weird on me riding a cruiser? I took over the car payments of a car from my brother and his wife. we signed a notarized letter saying that the car was mine and i was giving the payments. i also have all the receipts to show the payments i made. We have been through so many hurricanes here, we are highly adept at life without power. We are actually looking into alternate sources such as solar and wind. We'll probably be doing the board game thing. After Hurricanes Erin, Ivan, Opal, and Dennis, we purchased solar powered yard accent lights. We put them in the yard by day and when the power goes out, we simply bring them in. She is sore because you are not adjusting the outside rein to compensate for the arc of the circle to which she must bend her forehand to follow the circle. but her poor NECK! she can't properly turn due to the effect of the side reins!! She probably has the most terrible stiff neck! Just like you walking and having to turn the corner but your neck and head not able to lead you in the turn terrible! You must readjust the side reins when you reverse direction on the circle as well, if you are driving or serpentineing you can keep both sides equal, however the circle requires slack on the outside rein. chat will no longer load when i'm using yahoo mail. when i sign in, "loading chat" appears beside my screen name...shortly thereafter, it changes to "offline". yahoo techs haven't helped much...i went through all the steps they advised me to try...nothing works. yahoo IM feature works fine. is there a way to delete yahoo mail, re-install, and see if that helps?

Is being an retro fitter an actual job or trade or worth doing as a job?

I'm no reverse engineer but i can retro fit most things mechanical, i cant really explain what it is but i think some call it "bodging". Not only that i'm pretty good at graphic design and absract art as well i see things in my head no need for plans or drawings. All i know is i'm bored bored bored, i'm never challenged in work. I can weld bricklay fabricate do car mechanics do joinery and some plumbing and services (lay trenches for drains and sewers) use a lathe and any power tool you can think off and my day in day out job is to clean up after the trades on a building site and i'm a skilled labourer/chargehand. Any ideas what i could do instead? P:S i don't like working with other people, even though i'm a chargehand fully accredited i dont get paid enough to take the reins of telling the unskilled what to do and show them how to do it.

Skype Video Freezes! What should I do?

I am using a Dell N4010, when I chat with my dad, using Video Call, his video and my video freezes, as in it didn't move! But when I go to Dell Webcam Control, my cam is moving, but in skype, it's frozen. Then I realized that everytime I change windows, our videos move a bit but freezes again if I don't change a window. So, what I did, is I keep clicking on the taskbar and the skype window alternatively and continuously so that my dad's video and my video moves. This is very frustating! What should I do? Our internet connection is fine. I've tried to put skype.exe's priority to high through task manager. WHAT SHOULD I DO?!

34 weeks, and feeling "weird."?

All of a sudden today, I've been feel very nauseous, and queasy. Flu-like symptoms, and had a loose bowel movement, but no puking. I just feel tired, and wore out. I suppose it's normal considering I'm heading towards the end, but it also feels like it could be a sign labor is near, or I'm just over yzing the situation. Sounds like social anxiety sweetheart. It is very hard to overcome especially alone, but I used to be like you a little...nervous, awkward and functionally-retarded when it came to socializing. Honestly you need to expose yourself to more social situations, spend more time around people, it is tricky and hard but eventually you get used to it, when you first start try to detach yourself from the situation, a lot of it may be caused by a fear of looking foolish in front of peers, you just need to be a little more confident in yourself honey. Or a drama club Is how I got over mind but seriously something about being trained to act and go on stage in front of complete strangers really steels you, I still sometimes feel suddenly nervous in big groups but now I have the experience to handle it and not to draw attention to myself until I can calm down. I've been in the same situation. i'm thirteen too. It's not as hard as you think it is to put it in and take it out. as long as ur relaxed and not all tense and stuff it should come out just fine. we had to swim in gym last week and i had to use one and i was nervous that something might go wrong but nothing did, so I'm sure you'll be fine. :)

What breed is this pony?

I just want to hear some opinions on what breed my full up 148cm pony could be. His names Blue, and he's 'coloured' but you can't see that he is until hes been bathed or clipped. okay so i had some rust in my tub from some water that was leaking from the ceiling. so i tried clorox type oxy clean stuff and it really did not work. so then i read that i could try to clean it with "the works toilet bowl cleaner" so i sprayed it on there and the remaining oxy clean started to foam. but it got the rust off the tub. well my question is ..i did not really breath in the chemicals for long but im worried because im 9 months pregnant do you think that would harm the baby? the only thing i noticed was my hands started to burn..

Today she showed up @ my home w/a "centerpiece" for the head table. I had told her that I didn't want anything extra for that table and that the venue didn't allow lit candles, blah, blah, blah. She didn't hear a word! It doesn't match my theme or colors and it is poorly constructed (pieces are falling off!) My family says just to bite my tongue cuz it is her way of making peace. I think she hasn't changed a bit and this is just rude! What do I do? I don't want to use the centerpiece but if I don't it will cause another fight! Why couldn't she just listen when I told her I have everything covered?! Is she just being spiteful because I didn't include her in the planning?

Can you get walnut shells to make ornaments from? Crack the nuts carefully so they open in two pieces, preferably along the natural seam. Remove the nutmeats and save that for your holiday baking. Fold a small piece of yarn or ribbon in half and stick the loop out of the shell (to attach a hook to it) when you glue the shell back together. Plain old white glue is the best for this. Can you have a special session with a couple of the oldest girls? If so, they might enjoy cracking the nuts and gluing the shells back together. Once they're dried thoroughly, attach an ornament hook to each one. Then, let all the girls decorate them. Glitter is a favorite material for this, of course.

not bad, torterra seems fine, but on starapter i personally wouldnt use return or uturn but quick attack which comes in handy in many cases and possible defog if not drill peck or some other flying move. on luxray all the moves rock exceptswords dance, i much rather have a dark move like crunch, gallade is awesome and vapearon too, i would also change a move to have magical leaf instead to fight ground/water pokemon like whiscash, but those moves you picked cause you have some working strategy i hope so i would rate and 8.5.

My daughter has approached all of her milestones early except for talking. I am the only one home with her during the day and I try to talk to her alot. We have started doing flash cards and I ask questions like "gs or puffs" but she would rather point or grunt. She will shake her head yes and no most times. But she does not like to speak. She say's bye bye alot and I have heard her say ball, fish, mama, tank-u (thank you) but it has not been in the last month and it was only a couple of times. She is great with directions. I can tell her to take her pants off, open the hamper, put them in, and then close the lid. And she will do it all without me having to repeat myself. Same with her diaper (except in the trash). But I am starting to get worried with her speech. Any suggestions on how to get her talking more? And how many words do children this age typically know?

I have been back and forth with my insurance company, regarding a claim for vehicle theft. I pressed charges on the kid who stole it, but my insurance company is putting me in danger by not fixing the things that are from the theft, even after the deductible has been paid. These people are SO negligent, they never return my calls, leave me wondering what's going on...this is the least of it. Now, I'm fearing for my safety because my brakes are the major thing that are messed up, because the kid went off roading with my car, and drove over a bunch of crap. It is getting colder in NY, and it has snowed already. If I get in an accident, I'm really going to be screwed. HELP! I am in college, this company is based out of Scranton, PA, and I live in NY, and It is hard for me to afford an attorney, so I was thinking of going about small claims,...which I have no idea how to do. dno IF the NCAA won't condone violence what are they going to do about the Boise State Player? HE started the physical confrontation when he intentionally hit the guy in the pads. Oh yeah sure it's ok to taunt after the game and push a guy in the pads, NOTHING is going to be done except to say . That's what REALLY angers me about this even more. I disagree with the suspension in the first place, I think it was too extreme.
