Cheever vs. Andretti?

I recently saw a video online of Marty Roth, Scott Goodyear, and Eddie Cheever on bump day, and there was a picture of Michael Andretti, and Cheever said, "I like him better this way because he's not talking" I was just wondering what that was all about and why Cheever doesn't like the Andretti's.
