Given a choice between the two, I'd take the Hitachi every time. Hitachi makes great miter saws. DeWalt saws are OK at best. I've never used a DeWalt that didn't have a problem with blade wobble. There are ways to cut moulding so you can cut more than 5-1/8". I would, however, forget about the laser when embling your saw. I've found my eye to be much more accurate than a laser for making a cut. Go with Hitachi, you won't regret it.
