How do i change a Comms 2000 indicator unit on a Peugeot 307 2.0 HDi?

Is it a difficult job? Or would i be better off getting someone in? Im a bt wary of taking off the steering wheel (with an airbag on!), putting it on wrong and it going off. No, that wouldnt be funny! If it happened to someone else, id p*ss myself!!
