Why is the u.s military suffering more casualties then the other countrys who are involved in the iraq war ?

Why are we suffering WAY more casualties then all the other countries ? The u.s military is considered the best military in the world and there suffering the most casualties in the iraq war and the same in A-stan , how's this possible ? and Im not saying america is weak because I dont think that ! I love America ! but Im just suprised .
