How have telescopes been used to discover more information about celestial bodies?

since our naked eyes are not capable in viewing the wide universe because of the span our eyes can only see, telescopes were made to improve the viewing rate for the discoveries of new things about our universe. through these gadgets, we can see far objects and study them are only inside the earth.
