Are my daughters tonsils enlarged?

If it's been going on for 2 weeks, and she is still okay, then a trip to the ER would be nothing more than an unnecessary expense. However, if you really think her tonsils are enlarged, you should take her to a family doctor as soon as possible. Also, watch her closely to make sure she isn't having trouble breathing. If she starts having trouble breathing, or can't eat, THEN take her to the ER immediately.
